Product description
Sunburst (starburst) style wall clock — black painted metal, brass appliqués (12 trapezoidal elements in circles), openwork brass dial with a relief texture, brass and red hands, quartz movement. Radial design with black rays ending in circles, within which are embedded brass trapezoidal elements symbolizing the hours (Roman numeral at 12 o'clock). The central openwork brass dial features a decorative, relief honeycomb pattern. The distinctive sunburst shape was very popular in the 1950s–1970s, inspired by the aesthetics of the Atomic Age and Mid-Century Modern. Dimensions: 33 × 33 × 4 cm. Germany, 1960s. Very good condition, mechanism in working order.
