Spectacular Kapp PL2 ceiling lamp by Studio Italia Design, the Venetian house that has continued as Lodes since 2020. Designed in 2005, now out of production. Nine hand-blown clear glass “horns” by Murano glass masters, mounted on a perforated metal hemisphere with twisted aluminium collars. With a span of 165 cm, this is no ordinary ceiling light but a light sculpture — intended for an atrium, stairwell, loft, or hospitality space. When switched off, it reads like glassware; when switched on, it casts a star-shaped pattern of light across the ceiling and walls. The series hung in the lobby of Tower 115 in Bratislava and in a private villa in Cortina d’Ampezzo, among other locations (factory documentation available).
