About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
For sale is a true design classic from the renowned German furniture manufacturer Studio Draenert.
This sculptural, round coffee table impresses with its rare and massive tabletop made of genuine Holzmaden oil shale (Jura oil shale). The surface is left naturally rough-split, which ideally emphasizes the fascinating, earthy structure and the natural nuances of the coffee-brown anthracite-colored stone. Upon closer inspection, typical, millions of years old fossil inclusions can be discovered. [1, 2, 3]
The heavy, organically shaped stone slab rests on a solid, dark contrasting pedestal base, which gives the table a floating, timeless elegance. An absolutely iconic Mid-Century / Brutalism piece of furniture with extremely high collector's and design value!
