This studio ceramic vase was created in 1995 by the Dutch ceramist Yvette Bakker. The object is characterized by a robust, organic design and a pronounced texture that emphasizes its manual craftsmanship. The vase is constructed of ceramic and finished with a layered glaze in soft pastel shades, including green, pink, and purple. The surface displays a rough, porous structure with incised lines and a striking rectangular relief area. The interior is also glazed in a mottled purple hue. The work is signed and dated by the maker on the underside. The object is in good condition, commensurate with its age and material. The authentic finish and characteristic glaze have been well preserved. This unique ceramic piece comes into its own perfectly in an eclectic or modern interior.
