A tall, collectible beer stein with a pewter lid, produced in the second half of the 20th century by the esteemed German manufacturer Marzi & Remy (or an affiliated workshop in the Westerwald region). The piece is crafted from traditional grey stoneware finished with a deep cobalt glaze. It stands out due to its modernist form—progressive for its time—and unique decoration featuring dense, white relief lettering in German covering the entire body of the vessel. The stein features a classic metal lid with a comfortable, contoured thumb lift. An exceptional find for collectors of advertising and brewery-related ceramics, as well as a striking, bold decorative piece. Manufacturer: Marzi & Remy (Westerwald, Germany) – attributed based on style and form. Date of origin: 1960s/1970s. Condition: Very good (no cracks or chips; lid is secure; natural patina on the metal). Dimensions: 30 cm (height) x 8 cm (base diameter) x 11 cm (width including handle).
