Product description
This is the Duo Balans ergonomic knee chair, a design by Norwegian designer Peter Opsvik for Stokke. The chair is an icon of ergonomic design, created to promote an active and healthy sitting posture. The chair's frame is made of dark lacquered wood, which forms a warm and natural contrast with the upholstery. The seat, knee pads, backrest, and adjustable headrest are upholstered in grey leather, providing comfort and a refined appearance. The design is based on a rocking base, which encourages movement while sitting and keeps the spine in its natural curve. This Duo Balans is in good, used condition, testifying to its age and history. The leather has developed a characteristic patina, and the wooden frame is structurally solid. The overall condition is consistent with careful use over the years. Thanks to its unique shape and focus on well-being, this chair is an excellent addition to a home office or study. The Scandinavian design fits seamlessly into both modern and vintage interiors.
