Product description
The Stokke Actulum chair, designed by Peter Opsvik in 1979, is an iconic example of Scandinavian ergonomic design. This specific model combines a wooden frame with black leather upholstery, resulting in a timeless and functional aesthetic. The frame is crafted from bentwood, creating the characteristic rocking motion that gives the Actulum its ergonomic benefits. The seat and backrest are upholstered in black leather, providing a durable and comfortable surface. The design originates from Norway and reflects the principles of the Scandinavian design tradition, where form and function merge seamlessly. The chair is in good condition, retaining its structural integrity and original finish. The leather and wood display a characteristic patina befitting the age and use of the piece. This ergonomic chair is ideal for a home office or a modern living space. The design fits perfectly within a Scandinavian or mid-century modern interior, offering both visual appeal and exceptional seating comfort.
