Stilnovo Milan
The Bascula, designed in 1985 by Sigheaki Asahara for Stilnovo Milano, is loosely inspired by the Star Trek Enterprise. It is one of the first lamps to feature a thin disc suspended from a single cable. The conical counterweight balances the disc, allows the lamp to be oriented horizontally or at an angle, and also directs the beam of light.
Original model, not a reissue.
