Product description
Old painting, still life with fruit and an earthenware jug, classical composition, oil on canvas, signed J. Goens at the bottom right, not dated but conservatively estimated to be circa the first half of the 20th century. At the back there is still a paper label from the company that manufactured the canvas, marked Legein Brugge.
Painted in antique style, these still lifes showcased the very exclusive products at the time. Affordable painting for those who want a dash of art and color in their home and do not want to spend a huge budget.
This item is in good vintage condition consistent with its age, a small chip in the paint at the top left near the edge, the whole thing has discolored a bit over the years, but still looks good. Check the photos for more details!
