About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Still Here is a handmade Sculpture depicting a human head with visible cracks and damage. The rough, weathered texture of the cement together with the glass enhances the feeling of vulnerability, while the calm facial features exude a certain strength and resignation.
The cracks do not literally tell a story. They leave room for interpretation: what is damaged does not have to be gone. What remains bears the traces of what preceded it.
An understated Sculpture about vulnerability, resilience and what remains.
Material: cement and glass
Technique: hand-formed and manually processed
Type: figurative Sculpture
Unique, handmade artwork
