Product description
Based on the Sculptures of Chad Awalt - famous American sculptor.
Not a copy, but made inspired by...
Hardwood, namely Wengé from Congo. Very hard and difficult to chisel. Fully 3D finished - unique shape and appearance. Great wood patina - the wood grain speaks for itself.
This is an expressive Sculpture depicting a human torso, crafted from dark Wengé wood. The piece distinguishes itself by its fragmented and abstract approach to the human form, where the anatomy is divided into flowing, organic segments.
The sculpture is hand-carved from a type of wood with a very pronounced and visible grain structure, which is accentuated by the dark finish. The different parts of the torso are connected by slender, twisted sections, creating a sense of movement and dynamism. The artwork is mounted on a sober, rectangular black plate base, which forms a strong visual contrast with the warm texture of the wood.

The overall condition of the sculpture is good, with a character that reflects the natural properties of the wood. The finish is consistent and emphasizes the depth and complexity of the carving. It is a unique, standalone work of art.
This Sculpture is a powerful statement piece suitable for placement on a dresser, a console, or a pedestal. It fits well within various interior styles, from modern and minimalist to classic or eclectic, where it adds an element of artistic refinement.
