Private sellerProduct description
This work is an Art print by the artist Giancarlo Pissanchi, dated 1972. The piece stands out for its surreal composition and almost metaphysical atmosphere, typical of a certain current of modern Italian Art. Made on paper, this print is a limited edition, hand-numbered 16 of 25, as visible in the lower left. The technique, probably an etching or aquatint, creates a striking contrast between sharp lines and nuanced tonal areas, using a palette of blue-grey and black colors on a cream-colored paper background. The work is signed and dated by the artist in the lower right and is presented in a wooden frame with a gilded finish. The print is in excellent conservative condition, protected by glass that has preserved its integrity over time. The paper shows a slight and uniform patina, consistent with its age, which enhances its vintage character. The signature and numbering are clear and legible. Thanks to its enigmatic nature and its contained color palette, this print fits elegantly into various furnishing contexts, from modern to more eclectic. It is a piece that can enrich a living room wall, a study, or a hallway, adding a touch of intellectual and historical depth.
