Antique steel money box – beautiful engravings and original lock
Special old, heavy-duty money box with beautiful circle and border engravings, possibly hand-applied. Strongly comparable to Beaumont money boxes from circa 1920, but the manufacturer has not been definitively identified.
The box has an original red-painted interior and a working lock with two sliding bolts and a corresponding key.
• Dimensions: 24.5 × 18 × 10 cm
• Weight: 2.8 kg
• Presumably first half of the 20th century
The box has not been restored and shows authentic signs of use. A characterful collector's item or decorative piece!
