Wow, what beauties these large pressed glass cake stands are. Great for serving your cake at a party! This cake stand is marked with the letters Val St Lambert and is therefore of high quality. It has a deep pink color and a high base.
Val Saint Lambert is a renowned Belgian crystal factory, founded in 1826 near Liège. They are known worldwide for their artisanal crystalwork, often hand-cut and mouth-blown. Val Saint Lambert also produced pieces of pressed glass to serve a broader market. They did this during the period 1950-1980. The brand is seen as the Belgian equivalent of Baccarat or Lalique.
