Product description
For the true enthusiast: an iconic, 100% working S.T. Dupont Ligne 1 (Grand Modèle) gas lighter in Chinese lacquer, complete with rare, vintage accessories and a unique full gas cartridge. This luxurious French piece features a beautiful gold/brass finish with authentic brown-marbled Chinese lacquer (Laque de Chine), which is also engraved on the underside. The lighter has a unique, hand-stamped serial number (C8FE40), guaranteeing the authenticity of this vintage model. The lighter is in beautiful, used vintage condition with a wonderful patina. Very important: the lighter is fully functional, leak-free, and produces an excellent flame (see photos). This makes the object immediately ready for use or as a valuable addition to a collection. Over the years, the lighter has acquired normal, light vintage signs of use. These include fine superficial scratches on the gold and lacquer work, and some slight discoloration/soot marks on the inside of the cap from burning. Includes rare and original vintage accessories: • Rare: An original, still completely FULL S.T. Dupont 'Dupongaz' gas cartridge (Code Rouge / Red nozzle). This type of cartridge is no longer produced and is a jewel for any collection! • Original S.T. Dupont blister packaging including 3 spare flints • Original S.T. Dupont cleaning and maintenance brush
