Product description
A square coffee table from the 1970s built around the combination of transparent glass and the reflective surface of chrome-plated steel. Reduced to a few geometric elements, the structure defines an open and rigorous volume in which the top appears almost suspended above the frame. The base is made of rectangular chrome-plated steel profiles arranged as two orthogonal intersecting frames. The legs are paired at the corners, visually extending the lines of the structure and creating an interesting interplay of overlapping elements. The square transparent glass top rests on small supports, leaving the construction beneath fully visible and enhancing the overall sense of lightness. The contrast between the precise geometry of the structure, the reflections of the metal and the transparency of the glass creates an essential aesthetic characteristic of 1970s design. A piece in which the construction itself becomes a decorative element, easily integrated into contemporary interiors thanks to its balanced proportions and restrained use of materials.
