Product description
Spectacular and rare 1933 Terrot Cycles Dijon Vintage Poster – Professionally Linen-Backed A monumental, investment-grade French Art Deco advertising poster from 1933, designed by the celebrated artist Victor Dumay for Terrot Cycles Dijon. This iconic artwork features a beautifully stylized cyclist couple in motion, set against a vibrant yellow background with bold, striking typography. Terrot was France's premier two-wheel manufacturer during the Golden Age of cycling, making this a quintessential piece of historic advertising and industrial design. Condition & Conservation (Linen-Backed): This original lithograph is in excellent vintage condition with exceptionally rich, bright, and vivid colors. Crucially, the poster has been professionally linen-backed. This iconic poster is premium framing, no glasses. The poster makes a massive visual statement and has been expertly framed to the highest standards. It is housed in a high-quality, professional 5 cm wooden frame that beautifully complements the Art Deco aesthetic. • Total Dimensions (Including Frame): Width: 127 cm | Height: 166 cm • Frame Profile: 5 cm wooden frame • Conservation: Professionally linen-backed • Technique: Original period lithograph (Imprimeries Réunies de Lyon) A True Masterpiece. Due to its grand scale, historical significance, and pristine conservation state, this piece is perfect as a dramatic focal point in a luxury home, design studio, office, or private collection. Large-format Terrot posters that are linen-backed and ready-to-hang are incredibly rare on the market.
