For sale: a characteristic and handmade Brutalist tripod stool from the 1950s/60s. This stool (often referred to as Spanish Brutalist) is a beautiful example of Mid-Century folk art and an absolute eye-catcher in a modern, eclectic, or vintage interior.
The stool is made of heavy, solid wood and has a magnificent aged patina that gives the stool extra character. Easily recognizable are the kidney-shaped seat, the robust through tenon and mortise joints of the legs, and the functional, organically carved handle in the backrest.
Thanks to its tripod construction, the stool is stable and perfect for use as a unique design side chair, a decorative object in the corner of the room, or as a plant stand. 1 pin is missing, which can easily be replaced with a piece of wood.
