Price for lamp including shade and wireless LED bulb.
This special accent lamp is based on an original vase by Bückeburg Keramik from the 1960s/70s. Bückeburg Keramik is significantly rarer to find today than many large West-German-Pottery manufacturers and is particularly valued for its characteristic glazes and distinctive studio ceramic influences. The vase features a classic bulbous shape with a strong Fat Lava flow glaze in warm orange and dark accents – a very typical, atmospheric design of the late Mid-Century era.
The handmade lampshade is covered with a high-quality Italian design fabric. The motif is reminiscent of futuristic Space Age illustrations from the 60s/70s – with surreal landscapes, abstract forms, and intense color gradients in blue, orange, and violet. When switched on, a particularly atmospheric, almost cinematic light image is created.
Dimensions:
– Total height of the lamp: approx. 35 cm
– Vase: approx. 15 cm high
– Lampshade: approx. 23 cm diameter, approx. 21 cm high
Conversion to a lamp – object-friendly & reversible:
The vase was deliberately converted into a lamp without drilling or irreversible changes. The original ceramic body remained completely intact, preserving the collector's value of the vase. The construction is done via a gentle plug-in solution inside the vase.
Technology – wireless & flexible:
The lamp is powered by a rechargeable LED bulb that is charged via USB-C. Lighting duration up to approx. 12 hours. The bulb is dimmable, and various light colors can be set via remote control. Replacement bulbs are easily available. Thanks to its wireless use, the lamp is ideal for sideboards, shelves, bedrooms, or even balconies and terraces.
An expressive unique piece between Fat Lava, Space Age, and contemporary room staging – with a special effect both when switched off and when illuminated.
