This unique accent lamp is based on an original vase by Bückeburg Keramik from the 1960s/70s. Bückeburg Keramik is now much rarer than many major West German pottery manufacturers and is particularly prized for its distinctive glazes and unique studio ceramic style. The vase features a classic bulbous shape with a rich fat lava gradient glaze in warm orange with dark accents – a very typical, atmospheric design from the late Mid-Century period.
The handcrafted lampshade is covered with a high-quality Italian designer fabric. The motif is reminiscent of futuristic space-age illustrations from the 1960s/70s – with surreal landscapes, abstract forms, and intense color gradients in blue, orange, and violet. When switched on, it creates a particularly atmospheric, almost cinematic light effect.

Conversion to a lamp – gentle on the object & reversible:
The vase was deliberately converted into a lamp without drilling or irreversible alterations. The original ceramic body was completely preserved, thus maintaining the vase's collector value. The conversion is achieved using a gentle plug-in solution inside the vase.
Technology – wireless & flexible:
The lamp is powered by a rechargeable LED bulb that is charged via USB-C. It provides up to approximately 12 hours of light. The bulb is dimmable, and various light colors can be selected using the remote control. Replacement bulbs are readily available. Thanks to its wireless operation, the lamp is ideal for sideboards, shelves, bedrooms, or even balconies and patios.
