Product description
A vintage table lamp (possibly) by the Dutch manufacturer Giso, made of white lacquered metal. This design is a characteristic example of the Space Age style, evident in its minimalist silhouette and functional design. The lamp consists of a stable, oval base from which two slender stems rise, supporting a dish-shaped shade. The shade functions as an uplighter, with light diffused upwards via a textured aluminum reflector on the underside. This creates a pleasant, indirect light ideal for ambient lighting. The lamp is designed for an R7S halogen light source of a maximum of 100 watts. This lighting object is in used condition, retaining its original finish. There are some dents in the aluminum reflector. The design testifies to a timeless aesthetic that combines both functionality and a sculptural presence, even when the lamp is not lit. With its clean lines and monochrome color scheme, this Giso table lamp fits perfectly into a modern, minimalist, or eclectic interior. It is a subtle eye-catcher on a desk, sideboard, or side table.
