Design doesn't need a name to be good. There are plenty of objects - chairs, lamps, tables... - that are "anonymous" but look like they were made by one of the greatest designers. This lamp is the perfect case: we don't know anything about it, except that it was made in Italy in the 1970s and most likely.
However, it is beautiful in its own rights. The original and perfectly preserved glass spheres fade from white to transparent, creating a beautiful effect even when the lamp is off. The twelve lamps provide enough light to brighten up even large rooms. The chrome coating has been preserved in very good condition, with only the minor fading and patina expected on an object of this age. The lights work perfectly and have recently been replaced.
