Product description
Beautiful, vintage Space Age arc lamp from the 1970s. An absolute eye-catcher that fits perfectly in a Mid-Century or modern interior. This is an original, high-quality vintage piece produced in the 1970s. Given the construction elements – including the iconic telescopic chrome arc, the opal white mushroom shade, and the solid marble base – this model is attributed in the design world to top manufacturers such as the German Sölken Leuchten or the Italian Reggiani. The base is crafted from heavy, solid Carrara marble. The chrome fixture is telescopically extendable, allowing the height and reach to be adjusted. The mushroom-shaped acrylic glass diffuses a soft and atmospheric light; unfortunately, there is a small crack in it. The black plastic adjustment ring on the arc has sustained some damage over the years but still functions properly for fixing the arc. This lamp is in beautiful, original vintage condition with inevitable, characteristic signs of use befitting a design icon over 50 years old. Details or defects have been incorporated into the photos or the text.
