Hand-painted ceramic set including a large tureen and an oval serving platter.
This decorative large-scale piece is crafted in vintage Italian white faience, dating to the 1970s. It features an elegant Renaissance Revival inspired design with beautifully detailed birds and hand-painted polychrome floral motifs in earthy brown and green tones.
The finial is shaped like a pear, adding a refined sculptural touch.
The surface presents a deliberately aged patina a subtle, slightly "dusty" effect which is an intentional decorative technique characteristic of Renaissance-style ceramics, enhancing its antique charm and depth.
The form is richly worked, with fluted detailing and fine green accents running throughout all pieces.
The set is in excellent condition for its age, with only minor signs of wear consistent with vintage items. Authentic Italian production, signed Capodimonte with the crown and capital "N". Dimensions :
