This solid Sommerso vintage vase, crafted from Murano glass, dates from the 1960s or 1970s. The piece is distinguished by its characteristic teardrop shape with pointed ends and its striking color scheme, which artfully combines light and dark blue layers.
Made using the traditional Sommerso technique, in which different colored glass layers are layered on top of each other, the vase showcases the high level of craftsmanship of Italian glassblowers. The object is 16.5 cm tall and weighs 481 grams. A special detail is the still-present original label, confirming its origin in Murano, Italy.
The vase is in very good condition and retains its original luster. The colors are vibrant, and the form is flawlessly preserved.
