Magnificent soliflore vase in glazed ceramic, produced by the famous Italian manufacturer Ernestine Salerno. It is the result of the work and influence of master ceramist Giacomo Onestini. Design: Clean modernist line in Mid-Century Modern (MCM) style with a very elegant long, narrow neck. The deep, glossy petrol blue glaze is enhanced by an incised geometric frieze with raised circle patterns. Signature: Fully hand-signed under the base in clear enamel: "Ernestine SALERNO ITALY V181". Condition: Perfect condition. No chips, cracks or frits. The enamel has retained all its original shine.
