Product description
Superb and rare floor lamp with integrated shelf, attributed to French designer Charles Dudouyt (late 1940s). An emblematic piece of brutalist style, ideal for bringing character and a chic vintage touch to a contemporary interior. Made of solid oak, the central column sculpted with repetitive faceted motifs (called 'diamond point'), offers a powerful and structured vertical line. The coordinated base is adorned with concentric rings carved into the wood. Very good condition, stable structure and beautiful wood patina, some signs of age consistent with its age. Sold with its black drum lampshade offering beautiful light and a very elegant modern contrast. An exceptional piece, both functional and highly decorative.
