In 1930s interiors, the serving tray was as much a display piece as an everyday accessory. This one elegantly combines three materials favored by Art Deco: polished aluminum with triple-banded moldings, a recessed mirror, and two cylindrical handles of black-stained turned wood, set with metal rings at the ends. The ensemble's understated geometry, without unnecessary adornment, is the signature of an era where form alone sufficed. The back is protected by a natural cork base mounted on four brass feet, ensuring stable, scratch-free placement. Approximate dimensions: 22 cm wide by 17 cm deep. The mirror shows slight silvering loss in one corner and some scratches from use. The wooden handles bear the marks of time, discreet and consistent with the age of the piece.
