We present this spectacular antique solid walnut wardrobe, made in the mid-19th century in Italy, during the Louis-Philippe period.
This wardrobe is extremely rare due to its compact size. Free of excessive ornamentation, it is very simple and linear. The two central doors are paneled, with mirrored and symmetrical vertical wood grain that enhances the natural beauty of the material. A distinctive feature are the two large decorative columns on the sides, entirely turned with knot, sphere, and reel motifs. The upper part (the top) ends with a linear, molded frame, embellished immediately below with a subtle carved sphere decoration. The base rests on turned onion-shaped feet, typical of the 19th century.
The wood has a splendid warm medium-dark brown hue, which, combined with its linearity, makes it easily adaptable to both classic period interiors and modern spaces where a distinctive element is desired.
Functionally, the interior offers three solid shelves. The interior can be modified to suit your needs. We can make the modification for you, but please let us know before placing your order.
The wardrobe is in excellent condition, with minor signs of wear consistent with its age, but please note that it is an antique wardrobe in excellent condition! Ready to become a part of your home. A small yet elegant wardrobe that can be placed in the living room, entryway, or bedroom. Wherever you choose to place it, it will become the focal point of the room.
Important: The wardrobe will be shipped disassembled. Assembly is not included. We can provide a video demonstrating the assembly steps.
