Title: 'The Skinny Bridge'
This is an impression of the lively old town painted in a fresh palette.
Wide and summery view over the Amstel with the 'De Magere Brug' as an eye-catcher.
Bright use of color and very smoothly painted.
G. H. Sligting was a visual artist (COBRA) from Amsterdam (1923 - ?).
His works are in the possession of the SBK, Factor-IJ and CBK in Amsterdam, among others.
The painting is in good condition.
The canvas has two very small repairs. (see pictures).
dim. canvas: 60 x 80 cm.
The frame is authentic and is in good condition, has some light signs of wear.
Will be carefully and firmly packed.
