Product description
Coffee table by Peter Draenert, crafted from fossilized slate and brushed stainless steel. The grey-green stone top features a beautifully patinated surface, with subtle fossil marks, colour nuances, and natural irregularities that give the material extra depth. The two curved runners make the heavy top appear to float. Draenert used this type of oil shale in his early table designs from the late 1960s onwards. This particular piece presumably dates from the 1970s and is in good vintage condition with light signs of use consistent with its age.
