Iconic Slamp Moon table lamp, designed by Samuel Parker in the early 90s (circa 1993) for the Italian design manufacturer Slamp.
The postmodern design is known for its geometric contrasts. The base is made of folded, flexible plastic (Opalflex) with characteristic metal or chrome-plated screws on the side, topped with a large, round white plastic shade reminiscent of a full moon.
This is the 'Moon' table lamp, a design by Samuel Parker for the Italian manufacturer Slamp. The piece is a characteristic example of postmodern design from the 1980s, recognizable by its sculptural form and innovative use of materials.
The lamp is made of Opalflex, a patented and recyclable technopolymer that provides a soft, diffuse light distribution.
