This is a striking three-seater sofa from the 1960s or 1970s, characterized by its distinctive ears and slanted seat. The design reflects the bold and organic aesthetic typical of mid-twentieth-century furniture, making it a true statement piece for retro design enthusiasts. The sofa is upholstered in a rich, brown fabric with a textured surface, contributing to its vintage look. The seat and backrest feature buttoning, while the piece rests on a sturdy, chrome-plated metal base with sleek, angular legs. The slanted seat offers a comfortable lounging experience. This sofa is in good condition, commensurate with its age and use. The original upholstery and metal frame have retained their character, contributing to the authentic charm of the piece. In 2021, we had the sofa cushions fitted with new foam. A few buttons are loose on the right cushion; these are included separately. There is some wear visible in the lining underneath the cushions, but this is not visible with the brown cushions in place. The back of the sofa is not presentable; it is made of thin cotton fabric with age spots. You cannot place it freely in the room. No cat, scratch, or claw damage!! This bucket sofa comes into its own perfectly in an interior with a Mid-Century Modern or vintage theme. It combines beautifully with warm colors, geometric patterns, and other retro furniture pieces to create an inviting and nostalgic atmosphere.
