Mid-Century Modern bar cart from the year 1966 (dated at the bottom). This specific neoclassical design with the characteristic X-shaped legs is often attributed to or inspired by the famous French design house Maison Jansen. The frame is made of gold-colored metal. Due to use, the gold color on the handle has faded somewhat. The trolley has two levels featuring chic black smoked glass bordered with an openwork gallery edge (pierced gallery), large spoked wheels at the rear, and an integrated bottle holder on the bottom shelf. Stamped at the bottom is Marque depose, brevete SGDG. Breveté SGDG was a French patent type that was abolished in 1968. The name was a commonly used abbreviation for "Breveté Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement" (patent without government guarantee).
