I am offering 6 plates from the "Proeven van Kunst" ("Taste of Art") collection. "Proeven van Kunst" was a collection of art plates created for specific restaurants, by the company with the same name. Unfortunately, the COVID crisis brought the end of the company...
These particular plates were produced by Schoonhoven Keramiek and are from two designs:
- 4 plates: Art by Clemens Briels, "El Tiempo Queda Entre Recuerdo y Esperanza", for the restaurant Landgoed Groot Warnsborn (Arnhem)
- 2 plates: Art by Joyce van Oorschot, "Soupe de Poison", for the restaurant Zotte (Rotterdam)
Both designs have strong colors and look particularly good on a white tablecloth. The plates are really large (31 cm diam), restaurant quality (vitreous porcelain), and made to be used for food. Safe for use in professional (high-temperature) dishwashers. Each plate weighs about 1 kg.
The plates have minor traces of use (photos 4,5), no chips or cracks. The listed price is for the whole lot, and I prefer selling them together. If someone wants fewer, please contact me.
