A surface that catches the light, yet doesn't fully return it. This spherical silver ceramic cachepot plays on two textures: a matte granular base that absorbs light, and dozens of concave circular glossy glazed discs that reflect it like so many small mirrors. The effect is hypnotic, almost organic, somewhere between a sea urchin and a disco ball. The shape is a flattened hemisphere, the open rim is smooth, the interior is covered with a pearlescent beige-grey glaze. Inner diameter approximately 14 cm, height approximately 10 cm. The ceramic is intact, the glaze is uniform over the entire surface. Placed on a shelf or console table, it catches the eye and holds attention. With a succulent or an orchid, it becomes the centerpiece of a contemporary interior.
