Product description
This is a Spanish-made wooden chair from the 1960s. The piece represents the Mocholí style, characteristic of the era, and stands out for its refined silhouette and its backrest with a curved top rail and a cross-shaped detail.
The chair is made with a solid wood structure in a medium-tone finish. The seat has been recently re-upholstered with dark brown eco-leather, selected to resemble the original material. Its dimensions are 84 cm total height, 39 cm width, and 40 cm depth, making it a compact and versatile piece. The origin of the chair is documented by the original labels preserved under the seat, which indicate it was manufactured in Olot for Muebles Martínez in Tarancón.
The wooden structure remains firm and in good general condition, retaining the character and patina typical of a piece of its age. The re-upholstery of the seat is recent and shows no signs of use, offering a clean and durable surface.
Thanks to its timeless design and compact dimensions, this chair easily integrates into various environments. It can function as an accent chair in a bedroom or hallway, or as part of an eclectic dining set in a Mid-Century, rustic, or bohemian style interior.
