Product description
Clemens Briels (Son, 1946) is a Dutch visual artist. In 1965, he began training at the Academy for Industrial Design in Eindhoven with the aim of becoming an artist. Due to various circumstances, he ended up in the advertising world. He became a successful art director, but at the age of 46, he definitively decided to become an artist.
He draws inspiration from his own world of experience, along with the impressions he gathers everywhere. He consciously does not want to get ‘involved’ with trends. Briels' work is recognizable by its bright use of color, which immediately brightens up an interior. His art has now been included in various renowned art collections.
