Clemens Briels (Son, 1946) is a Dutch visual artist. In 1965, he began studying at the Academy of Industrial Design in Eindhoven, aiming to become an artist. Through various circumstances, he entered the advertising world. He rose to become a successful art director, but at the age of 46, he finally decided to become an artist. He draws inspiration from his own experiences, along with the impressions he encounters everywhere. He consciously avoids getting caught up in trends. Briels' work is recognizable by its bright use of color, which instantly brightens an interior. His art is now included in several renowned art collections. W52
