Product description
Annemarie de Groot (Assen, 1952) graduated in 1978 from the Minerva Art Academy in Groningen. A few years later, she attended the Oskar Kokoschka Academy in Salzburg. Initially, de Groot made oil paintings; since the mid-1980s, she mainly worked with acrylic and gouache. De Groot's paintings are characterized by being colorful, expressive, and made with a loose touch.
Since her youth, she had been fascinated by the world of circus, theater, opera, and cabaret. These themes are therefore regularly found in her work.
The screen print is in perfect condition and is hand-signed by the artist.
