Product description
The frame of this signed Thonet stool was found while clearing out a cellar. This piece survived a fire, and the resulting beautiful patina was preserved during restoration. The woodwork has a distinctive patina and a color gradation that varies significantly depending on the light. It has been meticulously restored using traditional methods and authentic materials. It is very sturdy, stable, and has been recaned using the traditional method. Dating: certainly before 1922. A beautiful, solid, and timeless object.
