Product description
This carafe is an Icon of Danish Design (1998), an original, signed 'Aqua Vitae' water carafe from the early era of the Danish brand Menu. Designer: Pernille Vea (Denmark)
This carafe is officially signed on the bottom with "Menu, Design Vea", which guarantees the authenticity of this design by Pernille Vea.
The carafe is known for its ingenious perpetual motion mechanism: a blue metallic ball that automatically opens the carafe when pouring and closes when set down.
The carafe has hardly been used; as a result, the blue ball is in perfect condition, without the usual wear or scratches.
The mouth-blown glass is completely clear. The ring and ball at the top, as well as the hanger and the blue ball, are made of plastic.
