This elegant, hand-blown glass vase is from the Vera Walther Glasmanufaktur, active in Germany in the 1970s and 1980s. The vase is made of thin, transparent glass and hand-painted with an ornate floral motif in shades of copper, brown and gold. The style clearly refers to the art nouveau tradition, but with a contemporary interpretation typical of the time.
Signed at the bottom and in excellent condition - a stylish and rare studio object from the romantic design movement of the late 20th century.
