Product description
Mid-century sideboard designed by Alfred Hendrickx in 1958. This beautiful piece of furniture was manufactured by the Belgian company Belform.
The sideboard combines Belgian modernism with Scandinavian influences. The body rests on a black lacquered base, which was typical of the early Belform collections that Alfred Hendrickx designed in the 1950s.
The wood is a successful combination of light maple and dark bubinga. The black lacquered handles are not original but fit in perfectly with the overall design.
This sideboard has been expertly restored with respect for the patina. It is therefore in very beautiful vintage condition with minor signs of use here and there.
