Product description
Side table with a drawer in solid wood and cherry veneer. 1950s-1960s. Rounded tapered legs. The legs and the entire top are solid wood. The lower shelf is cherry veneered particleboard. The latter has some veneer loss along the edges (see photo). The rear left leg has suffered from woodworm infestation. The piece has been fully treated, and the existing galleries filled with wood-filling wax. For aesthetic reasons, we chose to paint the entire base with a satin alkyd lacquer in a beautiful Tuscan yellow, thus highlighting the curved lines of the piece that give it its unique character. There are felt-tip pen marks inside the drawer.
