Sculptural coffee table designed and produced by McGuire in the United States, circa 1970.
This iconic “Sheaf of Wheat” model features a beautifully crafted bamboo base with radiating, hand-bound reeds forming an elegant pedestal silhouette.
The table is topped with a newly added circular glass top, allowing full appreciation of the intricate bamboo craftsmanship beneath.
The table can also be displayed without the glass for a more organic, sculptural presentation.
The bamboo base shows signs of age and use consistent with its vintage character, including surface wear and patina (see photos), adding to its authenticity and charm.
A timeless and highly decorative piece, ideal for bohemian, coastal, mid-century modern, or Hollywood Regency interiors.
