Product description
This 1970s wooden sewing box on wheels is a practical and charming example of mid-century storage design. Its clean lines and warm wood tones make it a versatile piece that transcends its original purpose, offering a stylish solution for organising small items.
Constructed from wood with a rich brown finish, the box features a hinged lid that opens to reveal a well-organised interior. A shallow, compartmentalised tray sits above deeper storage sections, providing ample space for sewing supplies or other small accessories. The piece is elevated on four straight legs, each fitted with a castor wheel for easy mobility, and is finished with a simple, rectangular brass-toned handle on the lid.
The sewing box remains in good condition, retaining its structural integrity and original character. The wood displays a natural patina consistent with its age, and the interior compartments are intact and functional.
Ideal for a craft room, study, or living area, this mobile storage unit brings a touch of vintage practicality to modern interiors. It pairs well with other mid-century wooden furniture and adds a functional, nostalgic element to any space.
