A set of three vintage relief plates, manufactured by Frank Down Ltd. from Leicester, England. These decorative objects celebrate the rich history of the Belgian railways with detailed depictions of iconic locomotives.
Each plate is made on a black, textured plastic base with a gold-colored frame. The images of the trains are in relief and precisely colored, creating a vivid and three-dimensional effect. The set includes the Stephenson 'Le Belge' from 1835, the 'Columbia' Type 12 from 1888, and the diesel-electric Serie 51 from 1962.
The overall condition of the set is good, with the characteristic appearance that suits its age. The front sides are well preserved, making the details of the locomotives clearly visible. These plates are a tangible piece of railway history.
