Product description
A beautiful pair of high-quality vintage Mendlesham armchairs (traditional English country model, related to the well-known Windsor chair).
These chairs are high-quality mid-century reproductions (approx. 60s/70s) of the iconic 19th-century Suffolk design. They immediately stand out due to their charming appearance and the characteristic details in the backrest, such as the openwork wheel motif and the subtle wooden ball decorations.
The chairs are handcrafted from solid wood with comfortable, contoured saddle seats and elegantly curved armrests. Because they are of sturdy vintage quality (and not fragile antiques), they are perfectly suitable for daily use, for example at the dining table, or as atmospheric accent chairs in the interior.
In very good, sturdy vintage condition with a beautiful lived-in patina and light signs of wear consistent with age and contributing to their character.
