Product description
Beautiful set of two vintage glass pendant lamps with a distinct Venetian/Italian look, like Murano. Both lamps are approximately 40 cm high and have a characteristic handmade appearance: thick, clear glass with beautiful vertical ribs and an organic, lantern-like shape, combined with a dark metal frame with a nice authentic patina. The two lamps are not identical, but precisely because of this, they form a particularly beautiful pair. One has a lobed bottom, the other ends in a point with an iron ball from the cage underneath. The chains do not have the same length, but can be adjusted. The lamps do have the same appearance, dimensions, and material feel and can be used together above a table or island, in a high hall, but of course also perfectly separately in different rooms. Condition: vintage, with visible signs of age and patina on the metal frame. This is precisely what gives the lamps their character. Please note: in one of the lamps there is a hairline crack in a part of the glass, in the cap. This is barely visible when normally hung, but is explicitly mentioned here and can be seen in the photos. The lamps are clearly related in appearance and execution to vintage Venetian/Italian glass art; there are no markings or stickers that prove Murano origin. A special set for lovers of vintage Italian glass, Venetian interiors, and atmospheric lighting. The lamps are equipped with a modern (large) fitting and have a blue and a brown wire. Dimensions: approx. 40 cm high per lamp. Quantity: 2 pieces. Price: minimum €195 for the set. Single lamp from €100 each. Lamps preferably to be picked up, they are fragile.
