Product description
Offered is a set of six Ceiling lights, designed by Elio Martinelli for the Italian manufacturer Martinelli Luce. This iconic 'Bolla' model, introduced in the 1960s, is a prime example of innovative material use and organic design from that period.
Set of 6 Italian Martinelli Luce Bolla design Ceiling lights.
The set consists of:
* 1 lamp of 60 × 60 cm
* 2 lamps of 50 × 50 cm
* 3 lamps of 30 × 30 cm
All lamps are equipped with a white translucent shade and metal corner fixings.
The lamps are made from a square sheet of opal white methacrylate, which obtains its characteristic convex shape through heat forming. This technique was groundbreaking at the time and results in a diffuse, soft light. The shade is held in place by four cylindrical aluminum attachment points, creating a minimalist and floating appearance. The production of these fixtures took place in Italy.
The overall condition of the set is very good, consistent with its age and careful use. The methacrylate has retained its original color and shape, and the aluminum parts are intact. These lamps retain their authentic character and are ready for installation.
These versatile Ceiling lights are suitable for various spaces, from a hall or corridor to a living room or bedroom. The set can be used together for coherent lighting or placed separately. The timeless design fits seamlessly into both modern and vintage-inspired interiors.
